Peter retired with a business background in Rural Science, Educator, Research in livestock, international development agriculture/forestry, aquaculture and fisheries and Community
Banking.

Dr Carson comes to Probus with 25 years of experience with Rotary and Probus, including as President of both and Paul Harris Fellowship. After 40 years of General Practice, including Founding chairmanship of the Knox Divison of General Practice and Chair of Maroondah Hospital Department of Family Medicine, John semi - retired and re-connected with his roots in Rural and Remote Medicine.

Further graduating with BA (hons) in Social Anthropology and following an in depth study of Aboriginal Suicide, John brings to Probus a driving determination to extend a message of Health Promotion to Probians.

Included in the message is recognition that the mental stimulation of ongoing learning is a major drive for quality of life in those advanced years. John is responsible for Probus/Rotary Liaison in Districts 9790, 9800 and 9820.

 

Treasurer Robert Renshaw

Robert Renshaw is a Representative Member/ Director for Victoria/ Tasmania. Robert began work as an electrician progressing to a Principal Electrical Engineer in a major Consulting Engineering firm. During his career he moved interstate a number of occasions and included six years working in Darwin establishing a branch company.

Robert has been a Rotarian for over 40 years having been a recipient of a Paul Harris award, and is the current Rotary District 9810 Probus Chairman. Robert is not only a member of the Combined Probus Club of Syndal but was the Charter President. Robert is responsible for Probus/Rotary Liaison in Districts 9780, 9820 and 9830.

Eric Penfold is a Representative Member/ Director for New South Wales/ Australian Capital Territory. Eric is a member of the Men’s Probus Club of Taree, New South Wales.

Eric retired from a business background in Scientific Instrument Making and Safety Investigation Unit.
Eric also studied Marine Engineering and has been involved with volunteer rescue with the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol and NSW Rural Fire Services.
Eric is responsible for Probus/Rotary Liaison in Districts NSW Districts 9650 and 9670.

Winston Marsh is a Representative Member/ Director for Western Australia. Winston is a member of the Probus Club of Attadale, Western Australia.

Winston retired from a business background as a Pharmacist and extensive company and trust management.
Winston is responsible for Probus/Rotary Liaison in Districts 9455 and 9465.

 

Director Bernie Bott

Bernie has been appointed as the Rotary Representative by the Rotary Council of Governors.

Bernie joined the Rotary Club of Yarrawonga Mulwala in 1999 and now holds the position of DGE of District 9790.

He as Community Director oversaw the formation of two Mixed Probus Clubs during his early days as a Rotarian. Bernie was named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2004, served as President, of his Rotary Club in 2006 to 2007 and treasurer from 2010 to 2012.  

In his service to Rotary District 9790, Bernie worked as Assistant Governor from 2012 to 2015, a mentor for a Senior Sergeant of Police in the Police Mentoring Program and District 9790 representative on the Shine on Awards Five District Committee.  

He attended the 2013 Zone 8 Future Leadership Seminar in Canberra, also graduated from the Rotary Leadership Institute and is a facilitator of the Institute at District  level.

 

Director Craig Winter

Craig has been appointed as the Rotary Representative by the Rotary Council of Governors.

Craig Winter is a businessman from Queenslands Fraser Coast and DGN of Rotary District 9570.

He holds a degree in Commerce (Marketing/Law) and sits on several Boards ranging from public companies, community organisations and government advisory panels and is President of the Chamber of Commerce, Maryborough.

Craig is a member of the Rotary Club of Hervey Bay Sunrise where he has held several Club positions including President and Secretary and still holds District positions as Email Communications Chair, Training Team member and Visioning Team member.  He is also Chairman of the Combined Rotary Clubs Living Expo. Craig received the Rotarian of the Year award in 2011, an Australia Day Award in 2013 and is a Paul Harris Fellow (Sapphire), a Paul Harris Society member and Rotary Benefactor.

Peter Turner is appointed to the PSPL Board and has many years of business experience in the private sector in Australia and overseas.

He held senior positions in the Royal Philips Electronics Group, Foster's Group Limited and the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association.

He is Secretary and Vice-President of the Stonnington Men’s Probus Club.


Director Phillip Marley

Phillip Marley is a Representative Member/ Director for New South Wales/ Australian Capital Territory. Phillip was born in Sydney. After graduating from High School he undertook Tertiary Education in various courses including Agriculture and Livestock, Agency Law and Accounting and also gained a Diploma in Real Estate Valuation. He worked as a CEO and Partner in an agency business for 28 years, mainly within the rural community. He served as an Army Officer for 2 years and then remained on the Reserve of Officers for 25 years. He moved to Batemans Bay with his partner Margaret where he managed a large motel and restaurant complex.

After retiring he joined the Tollgates Combined Probus Club – Batemans Bay and served on the committee for 5 years. Philip is responsible for Probus/Rotary Liaison in Districts 9675 and 9710.

Director Margaret Drake

Rolleston Combined Probus Club New Zealand

Margaret Drake is a Representative Member/ Director for New Zealand Districts 9940, 9970 and 9980. Margaret is a foundation member of the Rolleston Combined Probus Club and has served as the Secretary and President of the club. Prior to retiring, Margaret spent most of her working life as a legal Secretary/ Executive in Dunedin, Christchurch, Palmerston North and Auckland. She has been actively involved in Inner Wheel for many years, serving as Secretary and President of Howick Inner Wheel and also completed three years as District Secretary. Margaret is a Paul Harris Fellow. She has also been Treasurer of her local Residents Association.

Margaret has been married to David, a Past Rotary District Governor, for 47 years and they have two daughters and two grandchildren, all of whom live nearby. Her interests, apart from Probus are family, travelling, reading, walking, most sports, coping with produce from their large garden and floral arts. Margaret is responsible for Probus/Rotary Liaison in Districts 9940, 9970 and 9980.

 

Director Philip Booth B.Ec, FCPA, FGIA

Philip Booth is appointed to the PSPL Board.

During his working career Philip was a member of the Rotary Club of Brisbane and, subsequently, the Gladstone Rotary Club.

He has been involved with his Probus Club for over 10 years. He started his career in the manufacturing industry and later joined

a mineral refining business where, for the last 25 years of his career he held senior positions including Company Secretary,

Commercial Manager and Corporate Controller. He has extensive experience in negotiation of financial and material supply

contracts with both domestic and international suppliers.

After his retirement, Philip spent 10 years as a volunteer Director for the Caboolture Business Enterprise Centre.
