6 tips for taking great photos

Sick of taking blurry, out-of-focus photos while on holiday or with friends and family? Here are some handy tips and tricks to get you on the right track with your camera.
1. Keep it simple
Don’t try to pack too much into a shot as your photo will probably look cluttered and confused. Space opens up the image and allows you to focus on the main subject.
2. Try different angles
Don’t be shy to move around the subject to find the best angle for your shot. You could even try crouching down or taking a shot from up above. The results may surprise you.
3 Frame the photo
Aunt Sarah won’t be happy if her head is cut off in your photo of the family, so make sure you’ve got everyone’s heads and bodies in the frame before you click.
4. Check the background
Pay attention to what’s going on behind your subject and if possible, remove anything unsightly or distracting such as rubbish bins or unnecessary signs that might ruin an otherwise beautiful shot.
