Bus trip to Glasshouse Mountains, Maleny Cheese Factory, lunch at Tranquil Park and Montville.
On a lovely sunny day in March 41 Centenary Suburbs Probians headed off on a day's outing. With Mark as our driver we headed off to a lovely spot at the Glasshouse Mountains Beerwah lookout for a yummy morning tea. It was a nice break for a coffee before heading up the mountain to the Maleny Cheese factory. Some purchased wasabi cheddar and tasty cheddar cheeses and yoghurts. We drove past some beautiful green countryside before arriving for lunch at a most picturesque resort called Tranquil Park.
After a drink and a delicious roast or fish meal, we enjoyed the delights of Pavlova and fruit salad. One of our club members Merv noticed several cows sitting down on the slopes under a shady tree. After lunch we drove onward to Montville for a walk around the lovely shops, a coffee or a little shopping. After a great day out, we safely returned to Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre by Brian's Buses at 5.30pm.
