Cooler weather to bring relief
Cool weather in NSW will bring relief for fire fighters today as they continue to fight a large blaze at Winmalee in the lower Blue Mountains. Some Winmalee residents returned home yesterday to survey the damage. Meanwhile, a heatwave is expected to hit Queensland today with forecasters saying parts of the region could top 40 degrees Celsius. ABC News has more.
