It was very enjoyable to sit back and relax as we cruised through the canals looking at all the impressive homes that lined the waterways.</p> <p>A scrumptious lunch of fish and chips was collected on the way and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, nothing is more relaxing than eating a delightful meal whilst cruising the waterways of Port Macquarie.</p> <p>The added bonus was the appearance of dolphins frolicking around the boat. Chinese Junk Cruise

Recently Members from Probus Club of Oxley enjoyed a lovely couple of hours on an authentic Chinese Junk cruising the picturesque Hastings River.
The junk is a little boat with lots of character featuring very comfortable soft seating undercover, or you can enjoy the balmy breezes by sitting on seats in the bow of the boat.
The day was sunny, the skipper friendly and her commentary on the history of the area was informative, pointing out things of interest along the way which included oyster farms and the magnificent sea eagles. It was very enjoyable to sit back and relax as we cruised through the canals looking at all the impressive homes that lined the waterways.
