Australian embassies caught up in spy revelations
Australian embassies have been caught up in the US spying revelations amid claims the embassies are being secretly used to intercept calls and data across Asia. According to whistle-blower Edward Snowden, most staff members at the embassies do not know what is going on. Read more.
Australians arrested in Vietnam
Two Australians have been arrested at Ho Chi Minh Airport in Vietnam and accused of attempting to smuggle more than three kilograms of heroin. The drugs were allegedly found in the pair’s luggage. Consular officials are working closely with local authorities. ABC News has more.
Archaeologists find booty from Blackbeard’s ship
