AEGEAN ODYSSEY GRAND TOUR OF THE MEDITRRANEAN

How do I pick a highlight or two out of 28 days of highlights? Finally getting to see the iconic sights of Rome, Athens and Pisa of course were amazing, but the greatest thrills were the unexpected. The extent of the uncovered ruins of Pompeii, the World Heritage Archaeological Site of Mystras, perched high on a mountainside overlooking the original site of Sparta, and the breathtaking, mosaics of ancient Italian Cathedrals to name just a few.
And then there was the cruise itself, waiters anticipating our every need, kind, courteous and friendly crew always on hand to help, relaxing evenings with a glass of wine, entertained by the talented Odyssey Trio, and of course the food. Every new country was celebrated by a buffet of local cuisine, accompanied by elaborate decorations, appropriately dressed waiters and of course the local wines.
