Kiesha’s mother pleads guilty
Kristi Anne Abrahams has pleaded guilty to the murder of her six-year-old daughter Kiesha Weippeart in a case that gripped the nation in August 2010. Abrahams is accused of killing her daughter, who died from a serious head injury more than two weeks before she was reported missing. Read more.
Stabbing in Surfers Paradise
Two men have been stabbed in Surfers Paradise and both are in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Three men were involved in the altercation at about 5:15pm last night. The men are believed to have known each other. Police have not revealed what sparked the fight or what weapons were involved. Nine News has more.
